A little about me
I live in Dorset on the coast which has been home for all my life. I can’t be apart from the sea for too long. It is a constant for me; a source of calm, inspiration, excitement, fun. Just being near the water is an easy way to hit my reset button.
Music is a massive part of my life. My tastes are wide and varied: electronic, acoustic, dark, light, hard, chilled, deep, cinematic, widescreen, old, new, digital or analogue – if it’s good, I’ll give it a go. It’s where I can unleash my full geek however I’m listening. I’ve spent far too much time on headphones, speakers, amps, DACs, vinyl. I treasure my records and the old Technics I still play them on.
I love reading and have usually got a book or kindle on me. My all time favourite books are the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman, closely followed by The Dark Tower series from Stephen King. Just realised both those sets have ‘Dark’ in the title. Hmm….
I photograph weddings in a documentary style, presenting your story of the day as it unfolds, naturally.
The time and the moments are yours to be enjoyed, without interference or disruption from me. That’s a promise.

Fine Art. Documentary. Photojournalism. Reportage. A few words you may see used to describe different styles of wedding photography, but what do they mean and are they important?
Documentary photography is the capture of images that when viewed as a whole, portray the events of the day; the intertwining of relationships, family, emotions, and laughter.
Photojournalism and reportage are more about telling a story with a single image. That is the goal for all photojournalists: to convey a place, event, situation within one single frame. Some of the most powerful, memorable and affecting photographs ever made are from the field of photojournalism.
It’s a raw representation of events how they occur with no interaction from the photographer. A difficult thing to achieve and a very true representation of a wedding. Some people might consider photojournalism to be described as gritty, which in many ways it is - a highly authentic, untouched vision.

Typically wedding packages include…
• Unrestricted coverage of your wedding day
• 300 to 500 processed and perfected images
• Limitless pre-wedding consultations to run through your day (these could be face to face, Skype, Zoom or FaceTime)
• Beautiful cloud-based system to view, download and share your images and media with family and friends. Purchase fine art prints, handcrafted albums and frames too. Works on any device
• Large, high resolution image files with unrestricted printing and sharing rights
• Personalised 4K slideshow for desktop and devices (play and download via your cloud system)
• All travel and associated expenses within England and Wales
• Prices are inclusive of 20% VAT
We’re big fans of keeping things simple and so purely offer choices around the duration of the coverage you need.
There are many products that can easily be added to this coverage, including a wide variety of professional wedding photography albums and bespoke framing as well as engagement shoots.
Full day of coverage options, which usually consists of photography from the getting ready stages right through to the first dance and beyond, start at £1650.
We also have options for shorter and longer durations, just let me know your requirements and I’ll send over a relevant quotation.
