Savoy Hotel Wedding Photography
I’m Allister, a professional London wedding photographer with almost two decades of experience, welcome to my Savoy Hotel wedding photography page.
Set in the heart of London, there aren’t many venues with the same renowned nature as The Savoy. Long-known for hosting the most elegant engagements, from parties to weddings, dances and galas; The Savoy has played host to a whole raft of stunning events in its 130-year history. Said to be ‘untouched by time’, The Savoy is still a top choice of venue today with its instant glamour and contemporary luxe feel.
I’m Allister, a documentary style wedding photographer. Something special happens when you shoot wedding photography at such renowned locations - you find nuanced and loving moments where you have never seen them before. My particular style of wedding photography focuses on the married couple, rather than taking them away for repetitive and staged pictures which add no sentimental value to their day. Let’s get into why The Savoy is such a great location for your London wedding.
From the start, the Savoy team ensure absolutely everything is taken care of, with no request or wish being too great to achieve. Proudly boasting a unique, inclusive and personal service for each couple, although the venue may be the same, the experience of your wedding will be entirely your own.

No wedding party is too big - The Savoy can happily seat between 300 and 400 wedding guests with a range of rooms available for use for smaller, more intimate affairs. Starting with an iconic setting: the Lancaster Ballroom, which is suitable for 300 guests, is a beautiful room completed with soft blue hues and white ornate casting from floor to ceiling. The room lends itself to a range of layouts making it a space which you can truly call your own.
For something completely different, the Sorcerer Room is an intimate and richly indulgent setting and is the smallest offering of all The Savoy’s rooms, converted into a private dining space in the 1920s. Completed in dark burgundy walls with rich dark wood finishes, it’s a room of decadence suitable for 6-10 guests.
If you’re looking for something bright, light and inviting with plenty of natural light, the Savoy’s West Room is a great choice. Penned as a delightfully light and elegant space, the windows line the room and flood it with light, with Wedgwood friezes and a high domed ceiling adding to the elegance of the venue.
The Savoy has great ties with some of the best partners in the industry, giving you access to some of the best caterers and florists in London. The Savoy experience is untouched by time, with butlers and concierge present to make your day as special as you wish it to be.
Shooting in a beautiful, iconic London venue like The Savoy is an industry highlight and one I enjoy being present at time and time again. From the rich interiors making for moody and atmospheric shots to the bright outdoors swathed in natural light; I will make sure your wedding at the Savoy is remembered in the perfect way with candid photography capturing those moments you didn’t know even happened.
