I’m Allister Freeman, a professional Buckinghamshire wedding photographer with almost two decades of experience, welcome to my Danesfield House wedding photography page.
Danesfield House, in the beautiful county of Buckinghamshire, is one of the most prestigious venues in the area. Overlooking the Chiltern Hills and River Thames it holds a powerful position in the landscape.
Every one of its rooms has an elegant, classical feel and this only helps create the perfect atmosphere during weddings held at Danesfield. Not only is it a stunning building both inside and out, but it’s steeped in history dating right back to 1664.
I spent just an hour and a half documenting Mark and Joanne’s wedding at Danesfield House. The light was absolutely exceptional – strong, winter sun creating long and highly photograph-able shadows; my favourite light to work in.
Mark and Joanne’s wedding was a very relaxed affair with just their nearest and dearest in attendance. Weddings of this scale are always very warm and intimate and the ideal set up for very personal reportage wedding photography.
Danesfield House is right up there with the nicest UK wedding venues I’ve worked in; the architecture, lighting and staff are all first class.
Here’s a small selection of my favourites from this small wedding at Danesfield House in Buckinghamshire.
