I’m Allister, a professional Surrey wedding photographer with almost two decades of experience, welcome to my Langshott Manor wedding photography page.
Langshott Manor is a 16th Century Hotel tucked away in the Surrey Countryside, but still surprisingly accessible with good access to nearby travel hubs like Gatwick Airport.
The Manor itself is a beautifully restored classic red brick building set in large manicured grounds, complete with its own water-filled moat with resident wildlife! Inside the Manor, the ancient heritage oozes from every room, with low ceilings and exposed original wooden beams giving a feel of history and character. This is an intimate and beautiful venue that I absolutely love working at.
The photographic opportunities are extensive and I have never failed to create stunning images at each visit.
Robert and Philippa were married at Langshott on a typical English day in October. Overcast, and showery with the broken sun, this venue came into its own.
There is something warm and cosy about Langshott Manor that just encourages you to sit down with friends and catch up over a good drink. There is a kind of intimacy that it promotes and this leads to some lovely relaxed imagery.
The light at Langshott is another of its strengths. The small windows create pools of light and allow for wonderfully atmospheric photos. Robert and Philippa have such love for each other and it was clear to see this throughout the day.
It was a privilege to join them for their touching ceremony, not to mention the fabulous dancing in the evening! A few of my favourite photos from the wedding day are in the gallery below…
