I’m Allister, a professional London wedding photographer with almost two decades of experience, welcome to my No.4 Hamilton Place wedding photography page.
Wow, what can you say to do justice to No.4 Hamilton Place?! It’s a fantastic venue in an amazing location, dripping with class, history and elegance and comes with extras like a private terrace overlooking Hyde Park Corner.
The listed Edwardian building (in fact, it’s box windows and even the staircase are listed) is an exercise in attention to detail. Period features abound but are underpinned by modern conveniences, technology and first-class customer service.
With a choice of rooms and capacities, No.4 Hamilton Place can cater to some of the largest weddings. The Bill Boeing Room, for instance, can hold up to 250 guests.
Diane and Shri’s wedding in London was split over two days. The first day saw them at The Old Marylebone Town Hall in Westminster for the civil ceremony. Day two saw us at the amazing No.4 Hamilton Place.
Splitting the wedding over two days created quite a different feel to the normal hectic Asian wedding. Guests were much more relaxed and less self-conscious and people seemed more able to enjoy the moment. For me, that was a great bonus.
Perhaps it was the opulent surroundings and the exquisite care and attention to detail of the No.4 Hamilton Place staff. But whatever it was it allowed me to work in closer than normal and capture those important emotional and timeless images my style is based on.
I’ve selected a few favourites from both days to share below. Feel free to skip through the first few images to get to the No.4 Hamilton Place ones if that’s what you wish to see.
But just like this relaxed slow-paced wedding, I encourage you to sit back and enjoy the full gallery and get a real sense of what the two days were like…
