I’m Allister, a professional London wedding photographer with almost two decades of experience, welcome to my Old Royal Naval College wedding photography page.
The Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich London ranks as one of the most visited attractions in the UK. It’s absolutely stunning grounds and architecture attract people from all over the globe and obviously provide an extraordinary backdrop for your wedding day.
After the Royal Navy left in 1997, the site has been continuously refurbished and upgraded into a national treasure. Set right on the Thames there are several areas in which you can get married, including the incredible Painted Hall, the Chapel or the intimate Admiral’s House.
You’ll probably recognise some of the buildings in the gallery below. Several blockbuster films have been shoot on location here over the past few years, including box office hits such Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides, The King’s Speech, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, Skyfall and Les Misérables.
John and Fun’s were married on a typically overcast spring day in the beautiful Admiral’s House at The Old Royal Naval College. This was also a typically large and colourful Chinese wedding which was quite a contrast to the august surroundings!
Following the ceremony, we took a walk around the grounds and even managed to take a peek into the Painted Hall, one of the other venues you can choose for your wedding day on the site.
