I’m Allister Freeman, a professional Bath wedding photographer with almost two decades of experience, welcome to my Queensberry Hotel wedding photography page.
The Queensberry Hotel, like so much in Bath, is a beautiful sandstone building that just oozes character. Unlike some of the other venues in the city, this Hotel has the credentials to back up its promise.
From the fantastic Olive Bar restaurant to the stylish Old Q Bar (with its delicious cocktails) to the lovely gardens and the ever personal touch of the friendly staff, The Queensberry Hotel is my personal hotel of choice if I need to stay in the city overnight.
For weddings the staff are just brilliant, catering to your needs in every way. And from my point of view, the great lighting and interesting characterful rooms make photographing wedding here a breeze. You can take a look at some wedding photos at the Queensberry Hotel in the galleries below…
Martin and Carol’s wedding took place at a couple of venues in Bath. The first was the Queensberry Hotel where the preparations took place. The sumptuous decoration and large windows create beautiful light and colour enabling me to easily create soft and flattering images.
It’s surprisingly nice to work at a hotel venue that has this much character too. A lot of the hotels I’ve worked at are visually appealing but lack a sense of charm and English eccentricity but the Queensberry just delivers in spades.
I really enjoyed working here and hope to be back again and again – I certainly will be if I have any overnight stays in the city! I’ve picked a selection of my favourite photos from the wedding to share with you below.
NOTE – You can find out more about the reception venue on the Bath Assembly Rooms page.
