I first met Isobel and Elliot for their engagement shoot at the breathtakingly beautiful Savernake Forest on the outskirts of Marlborough, Wiltshire. I do most of my portrait shoots in this forest as it’s incredibly diverse and the light, particularly during spring and autumn, is more often than not sensational with a stunning mixture of textures and hues to really set the photography off. I documented this wedding alongside my talented colleague Andy Rapkins and between the two of us, we were able to really capture the essence of this fantastic wedding in Gloucestershire. I’m very proud of the resulting collection of images produced.
Everything took place at the amazing Kingscote Barn near Tetbury in Gloucestershire, a venue I’ve worked at many times over the years and just gets better with each visit. The spectacular views over the valley from the gardens never disappoints.
It was such a warm, family orientated day with a great atmosphere to work in. Both Andy and myself were made to feel very welcome, allowing us to get in close and produce our trademark, highly personal and authentic wedding reportage.
