What a wedding! Sandra and Nabil's wedding was absolutely sensational, their ceremony took place at the beautiful Sacred Heart church in South West London and reception at One Great George Street in Westminster - a breathtaking Edwardian building just off Parliament Square.
The attention to detail during the entire day was inspiring and it was a privilege to be their London wedding photographer.
After their wedding ceremony, Nabil and Sandra made a fairly swift exit from the church due to the bitterly cold weather! Their vintage wedding car took them to One Great George Street in Westminster where their classy drinks reception took place. This Grade II listed building is spectacular, from the outside it could easily pass as offices, however, venture into the rooms and you soon begin to realise just how special it is. Such a great central London wedding venue.
During the drinks reception, Nabil and Sandra commissioned two professional dancers to perform from inside a transparent cube, essentially a life-size snow globe. And it was amazing! I've never seen anything quite like it, everyone was completely captivated.
I documented this wedding alongside my talented colleague Andy Rapkins. Andy is an exceptional wedding photographer working throughout the UK and overseas, in my opinion, he's up there with the very best wedding photographers that the UK has to offer. I also run our tuition and mentoring company with Andy and his advice to students is always invaluable.
Our documentary style of wedding photography suited this day perfectly, we still do the odd group photograph and typically spend between 5 and 10 minutes with each couple but predominantly we observe the day. Our aim is always to produce authentic and believable London wedding photography for our clients.
Enjoy!
